Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Day 278 - Splat, Thwack, Plop

source
Over the past day I consciously scribbled down where my mind wandered to see if it was worthy of sharing with anyone. While I don't know if it is worthy, I am sharing it anyways with you. Feel honored, or horrified, or just feel something please. Without further nonsense, my wandering mind...

Why are there not more blue foods? Blueberries is about it, right?

Stop signs shouldn't be octagons, they should be random shapes. Cool would be a tangential quadrilateral taunting you to stop.

Nope, I do not know anyone that owns a Volvo. Never have. Will I ever?

I wonder why Jack and Jill really went up the hill? And did Jack fall down because he wasn't healthy enough for hill climbing??

When I was going out all night all was cool, then someone said all the freaks come out at night; they couldn't have been talking about me!

Someone told me today that creative people are more healthy. Hmmm, one word; Van Gogh. Make that two.

Boring meetings would be so much more interesting if only I could draw, should have paid attention in art class!

I know it never really rains cats and dogs because it never smells like wet fur?

Sham-Wow, what a waste of money that was!

I would kill for some watermelon. Ok, kill is a bit strong, unless the Sham-Wow guy was between me and some watermelon.

Guess what... Chicken Butt

Green Bay SUCKS!

Ice tea or Hot Tea? Ah, Pepsi Max it is :-)

Would it be wrong to just eat honey right out of the jar?

Colonel Mustard in the Study with the Wrench, for the WIN!

說可是那對 男姓王 唷

12-21, 2012, Bring it On!

Cats go meow. Dogs go ruff. Now that we got that straight...

On that note, Have a Great Day!

  1. Love this! Thanks for starting my day with a smile.

BTW - I once heard a college professor tell the story of his students calling him at night to ask why there were no blue foods! He claims blueberries are purple.

  3. You crack me up, Patrick. You could be living in my psychotic mind with thought like those. LOL. Love the variety of questions there. Sometimes there are just things you wonder about. BTW I do know a family who buys nothing but Volvos. I never like those myself.

  6. I worked with a woman who always got words almost-right and we had a difficult time being dignified bankers the day after she test drove a Vulva.

  7. Watermelon is by far my very favorite food. I do know a family that will only own Volvos, because they think they are the safest vehicle in the world. I always eat after dinner! If not, I wake up hungry in the wee hours. :(

  12. I agree Packers suck! As a native to Illinois (Lake County also) I am always loyal to my Bears!

  13. Holla APRIL! I, also, am from beautiful Lake County, Illinois! Born and raised a Bears and Cubs fan. I still remember the game where the Packers played the Bears and that mean guy had the numbers of the Bears' players he was going to hurt. He took McMahon out and dumped him on his shoulder causing yet another Jim McMahon shoulder injury. HATE the Pack!

  14. That post was freakin' (yeah, I pulled out the freakin' word) hilarious. I loved it, Patrick. I need to try that exercise. I think my thoughts are running towards food or the planning of food though, but we'll see.

I like your comment on blueberries. Reminds me of George Carlan. "What are there no blue foods? Blueberries are purple. Every other colour is represented. Somebody's got the blue food."

  16. Mind wandering or just bored? I'd take hot tea or iced tea over Pepsi any day! You're right about blue food...can't think of any other ones. Hmmm...

  17. First, I googled- Wikianswers said blueberries aren't blue either, they're purple.. Hmm.

Second, I laughed so hard at the Clue reference!! My son and I love that game, so after working out yesterday, I was laying in the floor and he asked, "what happened to you?"

My reply- "Bob Harper, with the kettlebell, in the living room!"
