Monday Exercise, Not Check
No excuse, just a busy day & I didn't work in time for a quality exercise. Oh I did purposely walk up & down the sidelines at my sons soccer game. Sure, better than nothing, but I'll stop short of calling it quality.
Shauna & Carla have just released their 18th podcast, check out Two Fit Chicks and a Microphone if you haven't already.
I've downloaded all of their podcasts over the past month & just finished listening to them last weekend. This latest one I enjoyed for more than a couple of reasons but I'll share two for you...
First, their interview with Christie Inge was very insightful & informative on the topic of intuitive living. Not just eating, but the concept beyond its approach to eating which we hear allot of on the blogs. With this podcast Shauna & Carla completed a 2-Part series on Intuitive Eating that is more than worth a listen for anyone interested on the topic.
Second, they gave little ole me some shout out love on their blogger news segment. For that I sincerely thank them. And in appreciation I have also downloaded Peter, Paul and Mary's, "If I Had A Hammer". I shall think of Carla as I play it; you'll have to listen to the podcast to get the inside scoop on that thought.
Do listen to any other podcasts you enjoy a great deal you'd like to share?
Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!
Sorry, I'm still stuck on yesterday's post. They brought you back an Eeyore! I LOVE THAT!! He's a very sweet Eeyore. We got our main Eeyore-son from Disney too, from their adoption clinic (aka: "gift store" but really, they really are adoption clinics.) Love your little guy! I'm jealous that you got a shout out from Two Fit Chicks!! That's super exciting! Look at you, popular guy.
ReplyDeleteLook at you. Praise on intuitive eating. Tomorrow, maybe a little love from Budweiser on how to drink responsibly. Intuitive eating, still too funny.. All the best...
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking out the 2 fit chicks. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI only have a shuffle & since it just barely holds enough songs for me.. well & it is just plain too tough to download podcasts to the shuffle.... just does not work with space & time constraints.... wish I had one of them nano or whatever else makes it easy to do this! :-) If I had a better "listening device", I would be all over it!
ReplyDeleteJody & all...
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have an mp3 player no worries, you can go to their site and download their podcasts to your computer & listen right there in your browser while you blog away.
I have listened to their podcast a couple of times and found them quite interesting to listen to, and not preachy which is always a good thing.
ReplyDeleteCan it be...? just a normal bla bla monday for the blog master? Say its not so!
ReplyDeletenever listened to them, I will have to check them out
ReplyDeleteThe only podcast I've listened to where I listened to the entire series was a Couch 2 5 K podcast with great music. I've always meant to check out those two chicks, maybe you've given me the push I needed.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to check out the latest podcast!
ReplyDeleteI've never listened to one of their podcasts before, but I think I'll check it out. And thanks for doing this 5K challenge! It is very personal for me.
ReplyDeleteShauna & Carla have an interesting Blog, I'll have to look into it a little more. Thanks for visiting my Blog and for your vote of confidence!
ReplyDeletethere are other podcasts?
ReplyDelete(rimshot!)
I may just link YOU on friday and take the day off if JARED blows me off as Im thinking he may...
that ok?
Hope all do get a moment to check out their podcast. I listen to podcasts or just music when I walk, do the elliptical, etc. If I lost my ipod nano, I'd be miffed and lost.
ReplyDelete@MizFit, Linking back my way is fine by me this Friday or any day that works for you.
Patrick,
ReplyDeleteI love the Two Fit Chicks...although I haven't listened in a while. It's time to do that again - thanks!!!
Good luck to your son in his soccer season!!
