Deb from Deb Shrinks, On Thursday she wrote a post that I could have written myself as well. Deb. I've thought of writing a post on this topic myself. Deb beat me to it, and she did quite well, so I shall abstain from a go at it myself. If you've ever had difficulties taking a compliment, then you too will be able to relate to; read and enjoy.
OK, Home for a weigh in for the first time in three weeks, and a mix of good and not so good I suppose with this weigh in. My hope was to lose 4.5 pounds over the past three weeks, staying with my chosen pace of 1.5 pounds per week. So here is the result...
I have slapped away 51% pounds off my body.
Slapped away in total have been 62 pounds over twenty-seven weeks.
Today I weighed in at 258 pounds.
Therefore I dropped 3.5 pounds over the past three weeks, a pound short of the 4.5 desired loss. Certainly I feel great for having continued to lose weight. And certainly I am not surprised I came up a bit short. This past week has been a challenge with being ill and then just succumbing to being busy so I have had probably my most inconsistent week of exercise in many months.
Thus not allot of self reflection needed to see what I need to adjust to get the pace kicked back up to where I want it. I just gotta get moving like I ought to be moving. And move I shall.
Hope all are having a great weekend!
Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!
Congratulations on 51% GONE, Patrick! Sixty-two pounds lighter, in just under 7 months - fantastic! I bet it took a lot longer to put on, didn't it? You'll be back up to par in exercising ... oh-oh, a golf reference, and it is practically snow time in Chicagoland. Sorry .... :D
ReplyDeleteWay to go on the 51% that is just terrific Patrick. I'm so happy you are here. You really have been so wonderful to me with all your caring thoughtful comments these past many months, thank you for being a good friend. I'm SOOOOO proud of you. I love being here to see you succeed.
ReplyDeleteThat's about one pound loss per week, and that's great! Congrats on the success Patrick!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Patrick, That is awesome!
ReplyDeletePatrick, super awesome!!! You are doing so great.
ReplyDeleteWEIGH to go! You rock! Hmm, I never said what my "chosen rate of weight loss" is, can I choose 1.5 pounds/week, too?? Do you suppose that will make it happen? I'm down to more like .4 pounds per week now--pretty slow, but at least it's still going.
ReplyDeleteHey, that's great Patrick! The direction (of your weight) matters more than the rate. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteYou're great, Patrick! So inpirational! Keep up the wonderful work of making yourself and others healthier by sharing!

ReplyDeletegreat job even though you didn't get the 4.5 youwanted. I love your graphic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on weight loss. 3.5 pounds is still a good loss, and when you recognize what you could have done differently, it means your mind is coming along for the journey.
Congratulations, Patrick!!!
ReplyDeleteHalf way there well done!!!
