Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Day 184 - New Week (Day)

Monday, and it is almost noon here. That is late in the day for me to put a post up. It happens, just a busy morning, all is well.

A new week is here, or better said a new day. But so many reference Monday as a new start, so you can it a new week if you are more comfortable doing so. Regardless what you call it, at the end of the day, week, I'll be healthier than and the end of yesterday, last week. How about you?

No weigh in yesterday as I was away hunting again. I am feeling good and do not believe I have gained any weight. I am hopeful I have lost some weight, but I don't feel that either to be honest. We'll see when I weigh in next Sunday (10/24) where my goal is to see no more than 257 pounds on the dial. That would be a 4.5 pound loss since my last weigh in on Oct 3rd.

This weekend my exercise came in a 4 miles walked in the hill country. Not bad, could have been more. Eating was decent. It is always a challenge when hunting because most of the groceries brought are convenience foods. A good selection of fruit made it's way there too so I have good options at hand.

As for a hunting report, w only got two doe this weekend, friend of the family 'Shorty' took one and I did as well. Up there you see a picture of me on Saturday morning scanning the tops of the 5-foot high field grass for movement. A great time even though we only harvested two doe.

Be healthy & have some fun today!
Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!

  1. For me it is certainly the start. I haven't done much of anything over the past two weeks and lost a bit of focus. I hope to be back on track tomorrow.
You look cool with the gun - the big bad sheriff is in town!!!

  2. I feel like the only one who doesn't have a case of the Monday's. Maybe because last week was a bit crazy so I used this weekend as a restart and got a lot done.

Today I have school, healthy lunch, gym, healthy snack, work, and errands! busy, healthy, and fun! Way to get a doe this week, like weight loss one is better than none :)

  3. Yes, you do look like you could be sheriff *grin*. Can't say I was thrilled it was Monday again but then Mondays don't really thrill me lol. But I'm doing fine glad to hear you are too.

  4. I love the orange hat and I have to get hubby one. He just got a new cross bow and he thinks he is Robin Hood. Our gun season does not start here until Nov.

  5. Congrats on bagging a doe.... good eats!!!!

  6. I have faith you'll hit your goal. Be on your P's and Q's this week with the diet and exercise. I know I will be trying to as well.

  7. I love Mondays because it's the beginning of my weekend :) You look adorable!!

  8. Every day or any day is a chance to start anew.. if we kept waiting for Monday, it may never come.... or too many excuses before then...

  9. Ah, next Sunday is the weigh-in! Cool, I'm sure it'll be a good one!

  10. Patrick with that hat you must be the most stylish hunter around :-)
