Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Day 339 - Ready Or Not; Choose

I've decided the best place for my mind right now is a place of preparation. I don't approach my work life unprepared, I don't approach my home life unprepared, I succeed at both because I prepare.

Thursday will not get here quick enough, but it will come. And I will be prepared for it, for the procedure(s) to follow and for the decisions that must then be made. I'm already prepared for how I'll make the most important decision:

When backed into a corner we must Surrender Life, or, Fight To Live… ready or not; choose.

Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!

  1. Love the picture, love the attitude. Courage!

  2. I know you will have no problems choosing.

  3. Please let us know how things go.

  4. Yes, please let us know how things go. Life has some hard decisions but you know what has to be done and you're doing it. Good luck Patrick. Take care and God bless!!!

  5. Hoping for a good result for you.

It's a tough one. These days, I wonder daily; when will my cancer show up...? Melanoma? Liver? Brain? It's just a matter of time me thinks.. Fingers crossed, but already preparing...

  6. Still sending prayers and good thoughts your way. I know you will do what needs to be prepared.*hugs*

  7. I wholeheartedly believe in being prepared! One of the best things you can do. You now we're all in your corner cheering you on.

  8. I have no doubt you'll choose wisely. Love the attitude!

  9. I'll keep you in my thoughts, Patrick.

  10. Patrick, you said it all!!! My friend that I mentioned yesterday, she had it pretty bad... months of that cream I told you about that really was painful for her & now with every appt. so far, she has been good. Yes, she might have to get bits of flesh checked but her last appt was clean. She is a fighter & you are too! HUGS!!!!!

  11. I'll fight! We fight to live every day, don't we? You are ready, my friend. I know it.
