Day 306 - Do You Prefer This Or That?

 One thing that blogging has certainly reinforced for me is that no two people are alike. Some similar, some as different as coffee and vodka; but none alike. We may have the same general desire for being healthy and happy. Yet when looking at the many different traits of how we exercise, eat, or do anything non-health/fitness; the differences between our preferences are many.


Lets look at a few...



Do you prefer to Strength or Cardio train?

Do you have/admire Tattoos or No-Tats?
Me: No-Tats

Do you prefer to eat Lo-Carb or Lo-Fat?
Me: Lo-Carb

Do you find it more relaxing to work on a Jigsaw-Puzzle or Play Chess?
Me: Play Chess

Do you prefer to walk/jog/run Inside or Outside?
Me: Outside

Do you prefer to wear your socks Ankle-High or Calf-High
Me: Calf-High

Do you prefer to Count or Not-Count Calories In/Out?
Me: Not-Count

Do you prefer to dip your chips in French-Onion or Guacamole?
Me: Guacamole

Do you believe that for weight loss/maintenance success Water Intake is Key or a Non-Factor?
Me: Water Intake is Key

Me: Disney World

So there are just 10 of 34,487,395,431,879+ traits that make each of us who we are.

I am of the type that likes Strength Training, No-Tats, Lo-Carb, Play Chess, Outside, Calf-High, Not-Count, Guacamole, Water Intake is Key, Disney World!

  1. I like both strength training and cardio. The variety keep[ me from getting bored.

    I like a few, tasteful tattoos but don't have any... yet.

    I do both lo carb and lo fat.

    I would rather play WOW than crosswords or chess. Both of those are intimidating for me.

    I prefer to walk outside, when the weather allows.

    I prefer calf-high socks.

    I count calories in.

    French onion is a favorite but I don't do chips often any more.

    I do believe water intake is important to weight loss.

    I haven't seen either in years but feel I would enjoy Universal Studios more than Disney, at my age.

  3. Weights with cardio at the same time~nothing high impact. No opinion on tats. Neither low-carb nor low-fat, but counting calories. Crochet or playing my dulcimer over any kinda game. I would much rather feel the wind in my face, mon! Ankle socks, but not the disappearing kind... GUACAMOLE! MMMM! Water is way important, but I've not been getting enough in. I don't really care about either theme park. This was fun!

    tortilla chips go with guac and regular chips are good by them selves
    water is super important
    i've never been to universal :( they have harry potter though DW has animal kingdom and mgm I'll take a few more vacations and let you know my final decision.

  8. This is Patrick - I am of the type that likes Strength Training, No-Tats, Lo-Carb, Play Chess, Outside, Calf-High, Not-Count, Guacamole, Water Intake is Key, Disney World!

    Me - I am of the type that likes both strength training and cardio, I have tats, like a balanced diet, haven't played Chess and don't like jigsaw puzzles, inside and outside, ankle high socks, count calories or count something, guacamole, water is important and have no opinion on Disney.

    So only two matches...I guess opposites attract, 'cuz I like you so much.

    Prefer weights but do it all

    No-tats but I like to look

    About a 40-30-30 for me but I change it up depending on the day & workout

    Outside is more "entertaining" but I am a gym person
