Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Day 303 - Mixed Bag Day

Mixed Bag Day Today...

Got up early, headed off to the YMCA and got the exercise in. About an hour on the weights, and then 2 miles on the elliptical.

Some chill time now back at home. Currently watching The Day: Remembering Dale Earnhardt, while scratching out this post. NASCAR is a favorite of mine and so happy to see the new season about to kick off with the Daytona 500 next weekend.

Going to get some lunch in a few minutes, then head out for some boring errands. I hate errands. Waste of quality life time. But they gotta get done. Or do I?

This evening my wife & I will go out for dinner for Valentines day. We've been meaning to try out Tramonto Steak and Seafood for years and tonight will be the night. We'll wait until tomorrow to exchange Valentine's Day gifts. Wife is going to love what I got her, will try and remember to blog a note about it later this week.

So there you have it, my Sunday laid out. Simple, Productive, Fun, Sunday!

What does Sunday hold for you?

Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!

  1. Happy V-Day to you & wife & can't wait to hear more! ;-)

I have friends that live & die by NASCAR! That & the Lakers! We are in CA!

Have a great day & I started off with my Sunday run & pert of Lori's Healthy Heart Weekend - post on my blog..

    Enjoy Patrick!

  2. I am waiting for my teen and his friends to wake up and clear out of our basement so I can get on the treadmill! This afternoon I'll be watching them play rec basketball, so hopefully there will be time for a long walk in between.

    Have a wonderful dinner!

  3. Not a big Nascar fan myself but did attend a race in Vegas and enjoyed it.

Sunday brings a long run, 8 miles, done, rest, and hopefully a good dinner and some time with teenagers.

    Have a good week.

  4. Have a lovely dinner, Patrick. I wish you and your wife a Happy Valentine's Day.:)

  5. I'm having Mom over for dinner, and spending the day in with my babies who are feeling better. I think we'll watch a movie. Tomorrow we are doing nothing special, we don't have sitter.

  6. Sunday is the last day of my work week! So i'm definitely happy to see it :)
Wishing you and your wife and wonderful Valentines day.

  7. I like the sense of accomplishemnt that comes from running errands. Is that strange?? Hope you have a great time with your wife!

  8. I hope you have a good dinner tonight! My Sunday was much like yours: went to the gym, took a walk because it was actually warm enough, and relaxing!

  9. Simple, productive and fun sounds great...I'll pass on the Nascar (lol). Enjoy your dinner.

  10. Happy Valentine's to you and your wife. Have a great dinner out. Take care and keep up the great work.

  11. I hope you and your wife have a wonderful Valentines Day! :)

  12. Wait! Nascar? Really?

This probably isn't a good time to tell you I love golf huh?

Glad you had a good day buddy!
