Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Day 258-259 Last Day & Birthday

Link to Hunting Blog post

Today is the last day of the year and that means it is Cameron's birthday. There he is proudly displaying the antlers from his first deer which he harvested in October. This week we finally mounted those antlers for him.

We'll celebrate his birthday later today with buffalo wings I am sure; he is a connoisseur of buffalo wings if there ever was one. As well we will celebrate New Years eve and ring in the new year from the safety and comfort of our home.

I'll hold off on any year-end wrap up and year-new posting material until tomorrow. Have some fun stiff to get on to with the family this morning but I wanted to put up a quick post for Cam's birthday. Also, answer the riddle from the other day.

This riddle was way too way as most everyone got it right; the defrost vent from my truck...

Nothing wrong with ending the year on an 'easy' note. The challenge to continue getting healthy in the new year will certainly be just that, a challenge, and a welcome one at that.

Enjoy your New Year's celebration! Be safe & Have FUN!

Responsibility 199 - Gotta Do It!!

  1. Happy Birthday to Cameron. I wish you all a lovely day!

  2. Happy Birthday to Cameron and Happy New Year to you and yours, Patrick!

  4. Happy birthday Cameron! And a Happy New Year to all the family.

  5. Hope you enjoy the Birthday celebration and end of the year!!!!!

  6. All the best in 2011, Patrick. You did well this year, and will no doubt reach goal in 2011. It has been a fun journey to watch (so far)! Everyone will be celebrating Cameron's birthday tonight ... literally. LOL I hope he enjoys his special day, but how can he not?! No one throws fireworks off on YOUR birthday, do they?

  7. I hope the kid has a great birthday. Tell him his gift is another year of having you as a dad. That should be more than enough for anybody, right?

  8. Happy bday to your son & happy new years to you all! Patrick, you really have done well in 2010 & no doubt you will continue in 2011!!!
