Responsibility 199, what is it?

Responsibility 199 is a belief; I believe that to be healthy and to increase my longevity I need to weigh 199 pounds or less...
Responsibility 199 is a need; I need to reduce my weight, reduce my percentage of body fat, and the elevated threat of disease my present condition presents...
Responsibility 199 is a mission; I recognize that achieving 199 will be a challenge, perhaps the hardest I have ever undertaken...
Responsibility 199 is a commitment; I acknowledge that I must commit to action, commit to change, commit to myself and those I love to achieve this mission, to increase my longevity...
Responsibility 199 is ME.

Happy Labor Day

Labor Day is the unofficial end of the summer, don't worry it will return in 2012.

Labor Day is an occasion for getting your BBQ'n on, and then go for a jog to get it off.

Labor Day is a day for towns, villages, cities to put on parades; I'm not much of a parade guy myself but love free candy being thrown at me.

Labor Day is unfortunately where politicians will appear at these parades and open their mouths, worry that these folk will be around all through 2012.

Labor Day is referenced throughout the year as when the NFL and College football seasons will kick off again, amen to kicking pigskin.

Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers, according to the U.S. Dept. of Labor; in case you didn't know.

Whatever Labor Day is to you, enjoy this day.

  1. Unfortunately, this year it is not a "holiday" for us and I will be at work so I will be doing my part for the economic achievement

  2. Labor Day is a rare day when my husband gets to stay home with me for a day. He works 6 days a week so any extra day is a special one. I love the holiday because it means more time with my husband.

  6. Hey friend,

Hi and good wishes to you and yours. I think I am really back with my nose to the grindstone after a several month slump. I have to believe it is possible.
