Having more than a hearty soup or a sandwich at lunch would make me feel full for a couple of hours in the afternoon which i don't like. I prefer the smaller lunch with mid-morning and mid-afternoon healthy snacks to spread it out.

My most recent fly-over moment was running for a solid 25 minutes. When i finished, it felt like I was the first across the line at the Olympic marathon but when i opened my eyes there was no cheering stadium, no new world record, no gold medal, and no champagne...just the knowledge that i was awesome.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01662733977843074015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2183510527500997747.post-83209164981981324072010-11-30T19:29:02.820-06:002010-11-30T19:29:02.820-06:00Days like that are always awesome!! I honestly hadn't put much thought into the percentage of my calories I use at each meal, so I looked back through my tracking for the past 2 weeks and I've been taking in less at dinner than lunch for the majority. The scale has moved downward slowly and steadily this month, so I guess your way is working for me! My most recent F-18 moment was last night after I finished day 1 of the c25k!the strawberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03457524496945410791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2183510527500997747.post-15073937017439656562010-11-30T14:19:21.868-06:002010-11-30T14:19:21.868-06:00good job balancing your meal...I am always trying ...good job balancing your meal...I am always trying to do the same. I have been off track since we reached our 199 goal and really not as motivated as I should've been. While still in the store, we heard the F18s doing their practice maneuvers over the store and I tried to convince my workout buddy that it was in celebration of the huge packages of pineapple, grapes, raspberries, etc that I had in my cart.

Freaky!Laniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15438241075767655180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2183510527500997747.post-34418303145260552632010-11-30T11:57:24.172-06:002010-11-30T11:57:24.172-06:00I think it's impressive that you've put it...I think it's impressive that you've put it together that you feel better when your midday meal out"weighs" (hehe..I crack me up) your dinner. Yesterday I ate 3 pretty similar calorie meals and 2 small snacks.

My last flyover moment was taking my TKD test and getting my yellow belt. I certainly agree that we need these times as motivation. I have to be careful of feeling OVER accomplished, though because for me it leads to celebration attitude and food reward triggers which I still struggling with. Luckily that is much rarer these days.

Glad your Monday Rocked!Dr. Fat To Fithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954538312143531261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2183510527500997747.post-16075763931284375642010-11-30T09:05:59.274-06:002010-11-30T09:05:59.274-06:00Me too, Patrick. It has amazed me the amount of success I've had eating this way. I just can't eat a big meal at night anymore.

My accomplishment is running. I've been working up to it and am doing the C25K. When I ...Congrats on that accomplishment, Patrick. When I lived in Mexico, we routinely had our biggest meal midday, and only the lightest meal at night (just to ward off hunger pangs). And, while thin at the time, I STILL dropped weight - eating the same volumes, but just in a different order. It really is a smarter way to eat. I need to get back to that, actually.
